Yippee!!  Yahoo!!!!!  Two chicks at least.  I'm not clear about chick #3 either, KC :-\

I do see that one little cutie and one little eggie :-*

Oh...snuggle, snuggle...

Guess it's just as well I can't watch at work.  Nothing would get done...

I'm looking at an egg right now at the front of Princess's body - so looks like one for sure.  Know how you feel though - I can't watch at all during the day!

So have I been reading this right, 3 chicks have hatched? :-\ I have not been able to get the webcam working at school since about 2:00 PM so have been relying on posts. I have just finished a staff meeting and am still at school. Is there still one more chick to hatch? ???

What wonderful news!

The noise we heard a couple of minutes ago that sounds like a helicopter is a helicopter.

I can see downtown from my window and there's one flying above the downtown area.

Can they make downtown a 'no fly zone' for noisy aircraft?  ;)Would that be asking to much?  ;D

Sure wish I could hear the little guys.  Often wondered how they enjoyed the "shuggling"! ::)  Perhaps it is my computer or maybe "my" ears.  Have no trouble with the wind sounds or the cacking.  Oh well I can see it all anyway.

Great reporting everyone!  I'm now on my way home from work and should be at my computer in 20 minutes . . . so, if that last egg can hold on (or are there two egglettes?), I may get to see a live hatching. ;D  I sat at home most of the day yesterday glued to my screen till I had to go out for supper . . . that's when it happened.  :(

Princess just shuggled the heck out of the chicks trying to get them under her and out of the sun.  You could hear them squeaking with each shuggle  :D

HaHa  I just watched Princess try and shove the egg under her with some difficulty. Its almost like her chicks are pushing it out and she was pushing it in.  ::)

Pretty sure I saw a little beak poking its way through a pip on the last/second last egg on one of the "other" camera angles.  Will see if the recorder caught it ...

got my first look at the chick this morning. Should have taken a screen shot. Ivy appears to have lured Princess away with food now he is trying to cover the eggs and chick. He looked like he was gong to feed the chick at one point but kept changing his mind and eating it himself. :( I am sure it will all work out, but its frustrating to watch. LOL

Actually DD, that was Princess  ;)  Ivy was on the early incubation shift, Princess is the one who brought in the food.  Chick looks to have had a meal earlier, his/her crop was showing.  So it looks like it wasn't "begging" hard enough for more and Princess was the hungrier of the two.  I suspect that that was the first time she has left the box since mid-day yesterday, so a very hungry Princess.
Thanks Tracey, I have to catch up on my i d'ing. LOL this is my first time watching after 2 years. gonna see if I can stick it out this year. I just couldn't take it after 2008 except to read about it. Very happy with  it all though. Very exciting! Looks like the box is getting fuller today! :)

Ivy came by for a visit and he and Princess had a "chat" prior to him taking off again.  Not sure if she was asking for food or "take over buster" or "get lost buster" ...   :D

I think Princess is bored!   Trying to eat one of the louvres on the edge of the nest box. Funny ;D
