The noise we are hearing is that something rattling in the wind or something else? ???  One chick isn't too sure about it either.

Smart little tots for 11, 10x2 and 8 days of age.  They are almost perfectly lined up along the shadeline.   As the sun gets closer to the back wall of the nestbox, the box edge starts to provide a lovely band of shade it won't take them long to figure that out and start wobbling their way out there ...

Our Baby Royals know when it is time to scoot into the shade and that is where they are. Four little chicks are lined up in a row against the wall. How cute! :)

Too cute!  Ivy trying to shove all the chicks under and only succeeding in waking them up.  This is the first time I've turned the sound on.  So nice to hear them peeping away.

Here he goes again.  Determined father trying to keep his offspring protected.  Such a nice day too.  They just want to eat.  They keep looking up at him as if to say "where's the grub Dad?".

I'm working on it MotherHen.  Busy week at work and lots of great video to download and save - I download 20x more than I post to YouTube, y'all get the best or the cutest or the whatever.  Got a batch to go up shortly - will post a note when they are ready.  (Brandon too)
