I really enjoyed watching the video of the banding.  My cat was quite startled by the audio, and has run off to hide from the angry big bird noises.

Finally had a chance to see the video on YouTube -- just fantastic, TPC! You certainly had a very vocal bunch to work with this time around. It was great to be able to watch the whole operation so closely.

Looks like a parent was trying to into nestbox to tidy up a bit and got mobbed by four vicious little raptors!

I just tuned in to a feeding frenzy.  Clearly, these children have been seriously neglected and have not been fed all day.  No other explanation for such bad table manners :o

Right now all 4 are outside looking bright and alert . . .perhaps wondering where dinner is.

Thanks for the You Tube video TPC.  What a lot of loud voices.  I'm sure you are glad you had a lid to cover the pail ;D  The chicks sure look "fat and healthy".  Squirmie too.  You sure couldn't leave the banding until they get any older or you wouldn't have a nose or fingers left.  Very strong even at this age.  Enjoyed the video very much.   :)

Two boys (yellow & I'm not sure) are outside along with their sister.  Other male is inside pulling away at something but he has his back to the camera - this is the one with the most flight feathers showing ...

the kids are definitely starting to pick and nibble at each other ... growing very fast  :o
 
ahh, now I understand, little girl wanted the corner to nap in ... pestered her brother until he move ... sneaky girl ...
