I believe it was Ivy that stopped by - the kids were screaming extra loud, nearly mobbed the guy and he promptly left.

There clearly wasn't a food drop off.  I couldn't tell if he had something with him and took it way (I don't think so though)

All 4 chicks are out in the "balcony" area now, as the Kinderchicklets like to call it. Lots of wingersizing going on with one of the chicks! 8)

Food delivery by Ivy (I think  ???).  He attempted to feed the chicks but eventually took off.  A couple chicks are peeking out from under the cover right now...

Just watched the tail end of a loud session that looked like a feeding.  Parent tail end visible bobbing a bit.
What a racket!!
Parent hopped up on ledge, still lots of yelling, then as the parent flew off, abrupt silence.

Well I have to say, it's been a long dull day watching the Wpg cam today.  Only the very occasional view of a chick now and then... Is this what they call "empty nest syndrome"?  (LOL, I crack myself up!  ;D).  There has been little by way of food delivery.  Those kids have to be HUNGRY!!!  The event horus refers to with both parents arriving on the ledge actually did include a small delivery of food which was quickly yanked away and taken out of sight by one of the boys.  Princess and Ivy looked at each other and I'm sure Princess said "You'd better go get some more, that just doesn't cut it" to Ivy because he took off right away...

The sun should be back tomorrow which hopefully means more action on camera.   :)

Leanna, you might not see adults but kids do. they scream when they see them, thinking there is food coming. Or they just scream becasue they see them. Typical kids eh!!!

Glad all is well here. I am going to watch banding video and news report tonight.

Strange... view is of an "empty nest" right now.  Kids obviously keeping dry inside.  However, every now and again I hear a big ruckus being made by the kids (I have my headphones plugged into my computer at work but not in my ears and I can hear their noises loud and clear!).  I quickly switch to the website to see what's happening and... nothing... no action that we can see... no parents coming and going with food.  So I wonder, why do they randomly make the big ruckus for 30 seconds and stop?

Tracy, I know this'll never happen, although many would want it to be so, but we should have a "Tracy" in those list of names.

Just saying... :-X

I saw that suggestion among the CBC comments, too. Definitely a good idea!

:) Breakfast is being served alfresco. Two males and Esmerelda. Beak fed by Ivy. At least I think it is Ivy. Feeding over and chicks have retired to the inside.  :-*

Everyone must be under the overhang staying out of the rain.

I wonder if Ivy will join the chicks today.

It's raining lightly now. Expecting a high of 16 and 1-3mm of rain.

TPC, I am delighted that you selected pioneers and key people in the environmental movement for names for our falcon chicks.  Worthy chicks, worthy cause, and worthy history.

This year its famous folks who in one way or another lead us to this point - key people in the environmental movement...
Great names to choose from, with lots of thought given to the choices. Thanks, TPC! 8)
