This is my 1st attempt at posting and I'm so sorry that I am doing it under these circumstances.  RIP Fyfe!  I hope you know how many people have fallen in love with you and your brothers and sister since your birth.

Welcome to our Peregrine family Suzy! Before long you'll be a pro at posting.  ;D
Thanks Doreen!  I certainly hope you are right.  With everyone being so nice welcoming me, I'm getting practice!

Welcome Suzy!  It's always good to have new folks join us, especially "under these circumstances".  It's always good to hear about people caring about our beautiful birds and caring about their welfare.

I think the birds are getting more and more gorgeous and I love to hear about others falling in love with them! :-*

Thanks Susha!  The birds are so beautiful and it's impossible not to fall in love with them.  It's too bad that our time with them is so short before they leave the nest.  This year has been so hard watching the tragedies with the Radisson and Brandon chicks, I really felt like I needed to interact with this wonderful group of people.

1928h

Cade had been patiently sitting outside in the nestbox (not on the edge) then quietly turned around and walked into the box and lay down with his sister.  Every big chicks need a chick pile sometimes I guess ...

... oops, that didn't last long, he's back out having a look around, now on the edge preening ... all golden in the westering sun ...

Just looked at your photos Dennis of that handsome, distinguished young falcon that appeared to have the elegance of a grown peregrine with the cloak of a juvenile.  He really did have solid character in his appearance.  So sad we won't be able to see him full grown.

Just now got home and onto the computer and now I can't stop crying.  I watched him all day yesterday and cannot believe he is gone.  I only wish we could have gotten him ack to the nest box.  I do realize that this is a part of nature but to me it is heartbreaking.  Take care little one and, as the others said,  fly free.

Cade and Beatrix are doing rain dances again on the ledge and in the nestbox!!
Sometimes I wonder about their common sense.
Actually they do look like they are having fun right now ...  ;D
Dopey chicks ...

Cade is on the ledge closer to the box than the camera-end of the ledge, Beatrix is still on the box edge.

Its nice to see a female that actually looks like a female by size ...  :D
