We are so glad to hear that Carson has been found! Fingers crossed and more "good vibes" sent that he will continue to do well. In the meantime, let's hope that Cade and Beatrix decide to stay put for just awhile longer...

We found Carson last night.  He had a bit of a dust-up with they Hydro building and was hanging out on their 3rd floor balconies when he was picked-up.  He was doing well late last night and he's being checked out at Wildlife Haven this morning so hopefully I will have more information on his condition soon ... He looked good last night but birds are oddly fragile (for such tough creatures) and peregrines can be difficult to deal with.  Last night he was hissing and annoyed which is a good sign, but we will see what the rehab folks find out during his exam ...

More news as I have it!

Cade and Beatrix are still in the box - he's just finished a meal of sorts and is perched on the box edge, she's napping in the front corner of the box right under the outside-box-cam.

Very nice looking duo here on the edge of the nestbox.   Can't get over how Beatrix has changed in the last couple of days.  All the fluff is gone!  And of course Cade looks so sleek.  Great day ahead!

Beatrix and Cade are pretty quiet at the moment, looking around at their surroundings.
Maybe they are waiting for the sun to shine so the can warm up. ;D

Not much wingersizing going on in the nestbox this morning. Not sure if he's ready to go today. :-\ Hopefully, he'll only leave when he's strong enough to fledge.

Finally found a laptop to borrow after mine glitched  and quit yesterday.

This is such shocking and sad news of Fife.
It seems especially so since TPC figures his fledging was likely accidental.

For those of you who babysat Fife yesterday, this loss must be devastating after seeing him so close and safe.

After watching that video, wouldn't surprise me if he isn't ready to go early tomorrow morning like others have done before him.

So very, very sad and tragic to hear about Fyfe...hugs to all of you who watched him hatch, grow and fledge...Dennis, your pics of him are just priceless...its been a really tough year in many places...Fly free, Fyfe, and keep watch over your brothers and sister...
