I don't blame them for taking off. Beatrix bit them.

Looks like a graveyard... that is one nest box that is in serious need of housecleaning!!!  

Who wants to tidy a nest while an angst ridden teenager is home?

So glad to hear that Carson is doing well in rehab. Wish he would practice his flying skills, though. Is he at least wingersizing?

I am so fascinated every time the Peregrines close their toes...........looks like they have hands and use them almost the same way.  Amazing birds!

I am so thrilled that CArson is doing well TPC. And I hope Cade stays put till he knows he is ready.

My Daughter and , fiancee and new baby are in winnipeg right now so when she phones tonihgt , I am going to ask them to try and take a spin down there.

Thanks for the update on Carson TPC!  So glad to hear he seems to be A-OK.  Now if only he'd take this perfect opportunity to practice his darn flight skills!!! Guess the view isn't quite the same in the flight cage...

Thanks to all of you for your reports on the Manitoba falcons.  Because I can no longer get access to the Manitoba webcam from work, your reports are all I've got until I get home, and when I get home, my dogs want all my attention, for some reason .  And welcome to all our newcomers to this Forum!

Fantastic news, TPC. For now, who could blame him for being a bit gunshy about the whole flight thing? Hope he'll soon be fit and ready to take to the skies again.

Carson is doing great - he's eating but being stubborn about trying to fly on his own now that he's in a flight cage.  The rehab folks are hoping he tries at least over the next little while but looks like he may have gotten away with just a big scare and a few bumps and bruises.

So what's up now?  We are going to decide how we want to re-release him, we have a couple of ideas, but we are going to watch Beatrix and watch out for Cade and figure out what will work best.  That means for the time being, Carson is hanging out at the spa and hopefully he'll do a little flight practice while he's there!
