Somebody just flew up and tried to land on some sort of a ledge under the nestbox, but didn't quite make it.  Wonder who that was?

smoke stack so the birds can't fall in?

We may talk to City Place about it, though Beatrix is only the second bird since 1989 to have fallen in ...

Very exciting!! its 10 pm here, I am supposed to be in bed!! ack!! I have to stay and watch for awhile. may be the last glimpse I get. Its 8 there, surely they wont fledge again this time of nite? Oh, love the new view, guess there is no one on the ledge, I was sure I saw a glimpse of wings, flying by towards it. coulda been a parent checkin stuff out i guess.Love however is manouvering the camera! Thank you! very exciting stuff!

Far too much noise and wingersizing.....they should just go into the back corner and have a nice visit and then a good night's sleep

Thanks for that link Jo! - ....A great clip and Bea sure was quieter than we're used to! How cute is she!!!! 

thats what I think too ballywing, she was sitting in there looking all quiet and innocent, and I thought Oh, my gosh, she must be really dehyrated, etc, and not well... cause she should be just screaming at them,, to go ou know what?? lol.. but she must have been fine else she would not have been re released! happy dances for me!! so so happy! and man is that miss Bea on the Cam plapping and all get out,, come on,, stay for the nite,, just one anyways!!

So glad all turned out well for Bea and CArson.

last year blue band female at Clinical fell down a fan shaft  at U of A farm research station. and the people there heard her and luckily fans were not on.

They chatted on the trip back into town, so by the time they got to the box, it was business as usual ...

I can only imagine how noisy the car trip back must have been...

Hey that was a good guess, I had not checked the posts between my two last posts. Proud of my good guess. and very very happy to see them both back!! Wow. bet we will have the 3 muskateers tonite.. or err, maybe not, these two are pretty active, they might refledge, pronto.. ha ha.. just seen somebody waltzing across the ledge, it was hilareous,, walked like a lumber jack!! ha ha..

Beatrix was fine, hadn't been there for more than perhaps a couple of hours.  No dehydration and she had lots of fat reserves.  Folks at Wildlife Haven checked her out - I was already on my wa there to get Carson when the call came in.

So for those of you worried about Beatrix, she was fine up until she went down the smokestack and as usually happens, it didn't take long for someone to notice and report the really ticked off bird

Any clue how long she might have been there TPC? - What LUCK those men were working there, I doubt that place is usually used, Bea had an angel watching over her today!
