Evenings or weekends for me, too, TPC. And I don't yet use Photobucket, PBase, Flickr or anything, but would like to learn. :)

Okay, we now have cams with birds and folks are beginning to post photos ... so time to figure out what times would work best for folks.

1.  Time - daytime or evening?
2.  Days - what days of the week do folks prefer?
3.  Length - was thinking no more than an hour, but we can play by ear ...

I think the first tutorial would be about photosharing sites in general - ask questions, folks with accounts already and say what they like best/least (so far) about the services they use, etc.  This will help folks without an account decide what they want to do with their service and make an informed decision.
Subsequent tutorials can be on individual services - like PBase (Dennis & I use it), Flickr, Photobucket, others ...

So what do you think?

Great idea. I was obviously lost without your expert guidance

Just a case of having had a bit more practice BCF!!  You'd have figured it out soon enough I'm sure, but I'm all for avoiding technology-induced frustration whenever possible  ;)

I should say that we can do a separate "tutorial" for each photo-sharing service folks use as they are all a wee bit different.

We have had lots of folks ask about uploading images to the Forum and what is the best way to share photos ...

So, what would you all think about having a thread that answers specific questions, for example, Member Sue (not a real person) has a Photobucket account and would like some help figuring out what is the best way to upload a photo to the Forum.  We arrange a time and Member Sue and I work out the steps online (here) and other members who also use Photobucket (or who would like to) can follow along.  We can do the same thing with other free photo-sharing services (like Flickr) and we can even walk folks through the PBase service that Dennis and I use for our photos.

Let me know what you think ...
