One egg in the nest at the moment, without a parent in sight. Very interesting article posted on the website this past Wednesday by David Hancock. An interesting and challenging year for the bald eagles at this nest site...

It seems that there are 2 eaglets at this nestsite, having hatched around April 22nd. :D Now how on earth did I miss that?! ::)

Yes, I know there are 2 cameras, eagle. It's just that when I look at the close-up view, the nest does not appear to be swaying, like with the wide angle view. Anyway, great cameras, great views and great looking eagles! :D

There are 2 camers,  one in the nest tree and one is a away from the nest and gives us a wider view.

I love this webcam! Such a clear, vibrant view of the nest, eagles and surrounding area! :D

I was wondering, though, sami, at first I thought the tree and nest were swaying in the wind too, but when I looked at the close-up camera view, the tree and nest do not appear to be swaying.  Or are they?  :-\ It's almost like an optical illusion to me. ::) Weird. Here is the link to the White Rock, B.C. Eagle's nest webcams. Two great views... one wide angle camera and one close up camera. I even saw an eagle in the nest, not long ago! :D
