Victoria Tower, Parliament BuildingCity of London, England Victoria Tower where nestbox is located The Parliament Building on the banks of the ThamesA nesting tray and webcam were installed at site near Parliament in February 2010 with assistance from the Royals Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) and British Telecom (BT). This pair laid eggs again in 2012, but the webcam was not available that year. In 2013 it looks like they fledged 3 chicks, one female and two males. So far as I can tell, none of the birds are technically named. The Victoria Tower was purpose-built as a "fireproof repository for books and documents. The first stone of the Tower was laid by Queen Victoria on 22 December 1843, and construction was completed in 1860.
