I can't get the Forum but I can get Tracy's Peregrine Chick Blog, so I rely on that during the day to keep me in touch.  (I Know I said NO internet, but I work for the Cdn gov't so we do get CBC -- lucky me!)

Same here Moonstar - I guess too many people like us spending all their work time watching webcams - hee hee  ;D - I can get on this forum at work though, and found it really helpful today , people constantly updating with any goings-on....or non-goings-on... :-\

Hello everyone,
I love watching the Falcons.  I can't watch them at work this year.  I think our IT Dept did something and now we can't view the web cam at work anymore.

Hi, Moonstar.  Your company is prob like mine -- the web cams (and in my case, the whole internet) is blocked because they want us to work and not surf!

Hello everyone,

Here goes my first entry...not sure if it will work.
I love watching the Falcons.  I can't watch them at work this year.  I think our IT Dept did something and now we can't view the web cam at work anymore.  I have to wait until I get home.  Today they had a beautiful day.  The rest of the week is supposed to be nicer.  I am so looking forward to seeing the chicks.  It would be wonderful to see at least one hatch.  Thanks to all involved for this wonderful opportunity.  It is addictive and I become so attached to them.

just saw another shift change...7:55 PST so...9:55 in Winnipeg?!  Too dark to really see much.

Not to quibble, but isn't it PDT?  Only asking because I know not all of the country changes -- like SK, for instance.  And yes (if so), that makes us two hours ahead.

Shift changes may or may not be regular after hatching, I seem to recall that the parents are usually pretty good about not disturbing the chicks much between feedings, though they usually have the protection of the nestbox so that might make weather-related changes less frequent.  We'll have to see what happens if stronger winds return ...

I missed that!  I assumed it was still Trey on the nest.  Mums and childbirth, I guess!  She looks as settled at Trey did.  And the pic is almost gone...
