I too checked in a few times Sunday, but there wasn't anything to talk about. I guess it'll stay pretty quiet until.. (If, If, If, If... ;D) - T&P give us something exciting to talk about!!! - Mother Hen if you see them today maybe you can start a June 16th thread.. :) I didn't really want to start one talking about nothing.. :-\ Have a good day folks, at least it's gorgeous weather!

I guess we've talked ourselves out, eh?  It's after 6:30 pm here and I just got back from an afternoon of errands, expecting to see some kind of activity -- nothing in any topic at all!  Well maybe in about 10 days, we'll have,
"June 2_ -- EGGS!!!!!"

(I know Tracy, big IF.)   :) :) :)

Actually...NO, for some reason the peregrine wasn't at all uncomfortable!  We were all in shock and we didn't want to move!  I agree that it was a very low landing spot but the peregrine seemed pretty content...actually from what I remember, the peregrine stayed there for about 5 mins.

Again...thanks for the info on the thread...if I can manage to figure the forum out, I'll post my idea!

The nest-ledge improvement thread is a little further down under this Radisson Peregrines heading. I think it's called How can this particular nest site be improved? and was started by MLH.

By the way, did the peregrine stay on the garage for very long? Or did it not seem to notice or mind about your presence? Pretty low landing spot!

Hi Enraptured....
Thanks for the info about the thread of how to improve the nest ledge...I'm new to the Forum so I really have no idea what I'm doing!!!! :-[

It was absolutely incredible that a peregrine landed that close!!!!  All of a sudden, we heard this high pitched hawk like sounding bird and then, we saw the peregrine! :o
It was amazing!!!!

There's a thread about how to improve the nest ledge where other members have been sharing their ideas...sounds like you should do that, too, allikat!

How amazing to have a peregrine land so close to you!

I always try the Ohio site, but I usually have trouble getting on...

Thanks for clearing that up for me...Ever since the loss of the Radisson chicks, I just couldn't bare any other bad news....  I am completely in love with Peregrines.  Evere since one landed on a roof of a garage about 20 feet from me, I was hooked!   :-*
Trey is my favorite....Sorry Tracy but you have some competition! ;D
I have been watching the Minnesota bird cam as well as the Ohio bird cam as much as I can....I wish I could watch all day and night but....
I have all fingers, toes and unmentionable crossed for T & P to re-nest but if they don't, I have prayed that they both return next (Trey please come back) year and nest on the proper side of the Radisson Hotel...I actually have an idea about the east side nestledge, in case of future nesting!!!!!
