Loriann, kinda like hearing the drawer open for the wooden spoon. Hear that and we all vanish.

Thank You bcc for the J info
Thanks to bccs for catching this one for me -- I was at work.  I can't believe I didn't notice/remember the sign was on all sides!!  LOL  I just see the one above the front doors.  I can see it from the window at work (thank goodness I don't have the desk there, cuz I prob get nothing done!).  Just stand on the sidewalk in front of 360 Main/BNS building.  Once I knew for sure what to look for, I realized I could tell from blocks away (walking on Portage), that I can see her from that far, if she's there.  Pretty cool!

and a shovel, and a back=hoe,    ::)  and crow bar to remove 'someone's lips from a certain part of your anatomy...
ROTFLMAO, Loriann, so are sooooo brave. Must be because you don't live within reach of the back hoe.

Any chance it will happen this weekend, TPC?  I'd be happy to spend a few hours of Mother's Day watching our mother get a safety net for her babies.   :D

Meanwhile  :D, back on the nestledge - Princess has been busy rolling the eggs today, have a whole bunch of screen captures that I will load up this evening.  All is well, bit of wind fluffing them but not pushing them and the ledge is dry if cool (its 5C right now here).

1015 hrs (local) - Princess is on the eggs now, Trey was on first thing.  The birds aren't being fluffed much by the wind though they are fluffing up to keep warm.  There is no snow showing on the ledge.  I have posted photos in the May 8 photo gallery - Radisson Gallery

TPC  will Princess and Trey abandon the eggs if they are moved by humans or are they more tolerable then other birds?

Birds of all species are all remarkably tolerant in fact - depends what is happening to them.  When we band the chicks, all peregrines are ticked off.  If we get near their eggs they are ticked off.  If we have to get near their nestsite prior to eggs being laid they are usually ticked off.  As for moving the eggs, the eggs are being moved all the time.  If we do manage to get a nest tray in place the eggs will be moving about 12-18 inches - and the adults will move them that much in the first few days after hatching (its harder to keep chicks in one place than it is eggs).  Its not like they won't be able to see them at all times and there will be no roof on this box, it will be wide open, just a little higher.  So to answer your question, no we aren't anticipating any problems, nor have any of our colleagues expressed concerns about abandonment, so we are comfortable with our plans, now its just a case of getting the plans into operation.
