What Princess brought in the second time was quite small and the feed was quick. She's determined to stay with the two chicks and unhatched egg as she's settling down again.

It was so neat to watch Princess performing her motherly duties. I am a little worried that the one chick got most of the food. Is there ever a problem in that department?

I've only bred dogs and horses.......never hatched chicks!! Have also been wondering if there is nourishment in the shell for the adults? Or will they dispose of it?

My, but Trey is having an awful time keeping his family right the way he wants them! Very glad Princess is having a well deserved break.

That is so cute ...the first feeding. I love when the adult cuddles them close to cover them up. I Love it! Such sweet little babies!!! That bucket is going to get awfully gross when the start discarding projectile waste!  :P

don't know if you all have noticed, but one of the chicks seems heck bent on getting out from underneath Princess. Perhaps we have a Curious George here.   Hmmmm George, not a bad name. George the dragon slayer. Oh yea, sub dragon for pigeon.

no no no !  Tracy and Kyle. lol.. even though Tracy says no to those names.  we owe our hero Kyle a baby and Tracy sure deserves one..  we have to 'sway' her to our side ( the dark side .. muhhahahaha).

oh and just saw change of position. two fluffies and still one cooking.
Hey loriann, ain't gonna happen. But I kinda think that mack or mackie might be a good name, Sitll haven't figured out the kyle thing, but wasn't his last name scmhidt or something like that. So maybe George, Mackie and Smitty, kinda has a funny ring to it.
