Huh, I lost light a while ago.  You must have a better monitor than mine.

Yeah, isn't that fascinating?!  I love how fast the light changes, and also earlier when it's the sun moving to the west of the hotel.  I can still tell Mum is there, tho -- her head is up and moving around.  I wonder what she's so interested in?

They are also outgrowing Princess' wingspan.  She has to really shuggle to gather them all under.  Boy when the light goes it really goes fast!!!

Couple more minutes and we won't be able to see anything. The chicks seem to be covered mostly, but I can just make out some little white butts sticking out - tomorrow should be a bit warmer! 8)

That's what I thought, Liz. The chicks do appear to be outgrowing Trey's wingspan. And I do hear you, about Princess "ruling the roost"!

Cute little face just churped "goodnight" at us.

I think it's Princess on the night shift.  Trey is too small to keep them warm at night, and she's making those decisions this year -- woman rules that roost!

Just checking in on the chicks before they get "tucked in" for the night. I can't believe how much they have grown in the last few days - and how much they eat! Does anyone know who stays with them during the night - Princess or Trey? Or do mom and dad take turns?

Was just looking at some of Dennis's photo's (great pics), and it got me thinking, don't think I've seen this question here before and if so sorry, but what is a falcon's wingspan when fully extended?

based on size relative to the bin, I say it's Princess

The kids are cozy and warm now.

I can't tell if that's Princess or Trey. His/her back is to the camera.

Brrr a bit nippy out there and chickpile is on their own, squirming around to get closer & warmer. Maybe a bedtime snack is on its way!  ;D

Yes Maggieblue, I saw a couple of them fiddling with that leg/claw!!  - I thought in the end it was dropped for lack of being able to handle it, but not sure -I'd think it's not such a good thing for the kids to eat!  :o
