Hey Allikat, thanks for the update (now that you're back from your top secret mission safely . . .  ;) ). I'm out of town and feel the withdrawal even more severely -- there's something about being at a distance, not being able to just "drop by" downtown on the way somewhere, anywhere -- any excuse to drag out the binoculars and see if there's one of our falcon family in sight. By the way, Bccs, thanks for the info on their newer spots to be -- at least when I get back, I'll know where to be looking. Have fun with the air quality checks, and keep 'em coming!  :-*

On a positive note folks.... ;D

The family is doing great!
Ever since Fledge watch started, I was stopping to take a look in the morning as well as after work before my "shifts" started.
Even with this "secret mission" going on and now over  ;D, I have and will continue to check in on the family on my way to and from work.
Let's simply call it.....I'm a falcon phanatic and I'm officially addicted  :P

Have 25 seconds to update

Bot, birds are well, mission is going swimmingly, must not deviate from topic, stay true to the real purpose, will update when mission is accomplished. Bot, air quality reports to resume in  24 hours.

Thanks for the update, allikat.  I didn't see any of them today, but I also can't see Graham from my window so that eliminates a lot of area!

Hi folks

On my way home, I stopped for a few minutes to watch our birds.

I noticed one on the ledge and one on the N of the Radisson sign facing East.  Usually Trey sits tucked in behind the N so I'm thinking it was Vesper, again, only guessing as this juvie was large and she's usually around Dad.....FOOD!
I checked out some other hangouts and didn't see them but that could be because the boys are our hunting and Mom is just hangin' around.

We will miss the air quality checks though for the time.
Thanks to any and all who post sightings and news.  It is a lovely visual of the family of five soaring, swooping, playing while learning all the tricks.

So allikat yells out " hello Tupper ". Darned it the little guy didn't turn around and look at us. I swear guys, that did happen.
Haven't been at a computer for a few days now. Still down here in southern Ontario. Great to read all the posts! Thanks for that fabulous update, bccs and allikat!  ;D Yes! The morning that Vesper first fledged, deb and I were looking up at her on the nestledge and talking to her little head that was poking out. And she seemed to be looking right at us! It was awesome! 8)

That's so great to hear bccs. And they will be around for a while yet. The air to air "refueling" must have been a sight to see. Good sighting.

There's a building on Main street that kind of looks like a mini Empire State Bldg. in New York. On the second level from the top, on the north east side Dennis  ( eagle eyes ) spotted one there. The Hydro Bldg, The Rogers Bldg, The Post Office and the north and west sides of the Raddison Hotel. Don't often see them anymore at City Place, Vital Statistics, the Paris Bldg or the Avenue Bldg. All new places are much higher than the last four. TPC will certainly know better, but I think that they are naturally seeking higher and higher spots.

Great reports from Bccs and BigBird -- every sighting is wonderful news! Bccs, in your earlier post, you mentioned looking for them in their usual "and new" places -- where are they hanging out now? I'm out of town this week, but definitely checking in for news . . .

So....I'm brushing my teeth this morning and my bf is out on the balcony... and he starts yelling at me to come outside... low and behold  :o there's a falcon squawking away on Knox United Church....i can only assume its Vesper based on how loud she was being. Very Exciting!!! I tried to get a picture... but i was so dumbstruck that i stood there too long before running to get my camera.

my balcony faces the church and I always wondered if they might come out this way because there are so many pigeons...

What a way to WAKE UP!! Nice, thanks for sharing that BigBird!  :-*
