Happy TGIF to the still working population!!!!! Three little chickies all in a row.....after a snack...they are soooo growing up.What a joy it is to watch this falcon family.Saw my first projectile poop yesterday..LOL

That was quite the pre-poo dance - a stretch, two steps forward, three back, etc

I think they grew over night. Nice to see them walking around and active. Looks like they are settled in for a nap - so I can go get something done  ;)

...yes, i remember waiting for the necropsy results...the chick just looked like it was moving oddly (more oddly than normal for unco-ordinated chicks)...guess I'm in a glass half-empty kind of mood today - very strange for a friday...

just trying to get comfortable and have a nap.
The chick that " fell " a couple of years age had some brain damage and thats why it went over the edge. As TPC says falcons don't fall without something being wrong with them

Good grief.  Go away for a week and the chicks are huge but nothing compared to the volume of postings!   ;D

I have a question for TPC or my fellow phanatics.  Over on the CBC comment section - which I don't read a lot because it frustrates me - there is lots of chatter oabout the "runt".  Do peregrines have runts or is the size difference just because of the difference in hatching times?

Oh I see what's happened...TPC's profanity filter is on high alert. It is clipping the end of karkas (had to go phonetic to keep it from being trimmed a third time). I knew I didn't misspell it the second time. LOL.

It is 6:23 (give or take a minute) here in the City of Winnipeg and the little ones are busy about their morning (wash, comb your hair, brush your teeth) duties.  The "Howitzer" fired a shot across the "compound" and then everyone went back to a huddle.
