Good lord, 10 pages of chatter and photos to look through this morning!  Thanks for all slideshows everyone.  I was lucky enough to watch the banding from work on my desktop, it was really fast!  That's the way a banding should be, quick, efficient and outta there!

Well done TPC!!  ;)

Oh and bccs..I saw you on the rooftop with the boy  :P
HA ! BCCS !  y'all been busted !...
Seems that way. ::) I have a funny little feeling that the global exposure may have been pre-planned by a certain birdie lady and her tekkie sidekick. Even my cousin in the " centre of the known universe " saw me. ;D ;D
( and the hamster in my head is on the run, planning and plotting )

Interesting start to that last feeding.  One parent brought the food and landed on the ledge, second parent grabbed the food and walked towards the kids.  One chick grabbed the food from the parent and ran away with it.  When parent went to take it back, the kid said, "I don't think so.  This is all mine."  After a bit of a tug of war, said parent retrieved breakfast and proceeded to feed said chick.  I guess the kids are learning how to feed on their own.

Good morning, everybody! I wondered whether it would be anti-climactic to check out the chicks this morning, after all the excitement yesterday, but, no, the same thrill to see them all in a row, checking out the world. Caught the end of a feeding, just in time to see the parent (couldn't tell which one this time) fly away. Interesting as it is to watch the chicks feeding, there's a real thrill to seeing the adult take flight.

The day is off to a good start - just turned on the computer to see the food drop off with both mom & dad on the ledge (well for a moment). Don't see that to often.

Great work yesterday TPC & gang. I was watching for a short time yesterday from street level - but darn it - had to get back to work (fortunately I made it back in time to watch the banding).

Someone is giving his/her wings a real workout in the spot where the tuppernest once was.

Again - I must say -  TPC & gang - you are amazing! Thank you for your dedication to the project and making it all possible.

Good morning all. All is quiet on the nest ledge after the events of yesterday (and what an awesome show it was for all, congratulations Tracy and company). Princess has been on sentry this morning, but napping with her head tucked under her wing. The chicks are still sleeping on the gravel in the north corner though I suspect because I am late logging in this morning I've probably missed the first two feedings.

Even though I watched all day it was still fun to read yesterday's running commentary and to catch up on the last few pages this morning. Great slides shows, too, thanks. Have a great day all.

hey pchemist, don't worry about the traffic signs, that is a normal summer thing for us. Actually, we don't say summer a lot any more, it's now "construction season"

well, yeah - but you left the date off the name of it!  how will people know???

observation - it's dark.  there are nifty arrow signs on the street showing people how not to drive into a hole.  I wanted to click on them to see if things fast forwarded.  :)

Whew! 47 pages and I've finally got here!

Thank you all for such fabulous posting, minute by minute, all day.
I haven't checked any other threads yet, and haven't heard TPC's interview nor pchemists', but, WOW, what a day has been described.

The first slide shows (Bev?) were thrilling, and I was in awe of how focused TPC was once on the ledge.  Ms D's slide show was excellent.  I loved all the signs and buildings included in the shots of the parents.

Okay, back to reading all the rest of the stuff that happened today.  What a day for me to be unavoidably away from my computer!

We didn't see Princess or Trey over the webcam at all during the banding but you had some great shots of them hovering around.  Thanks for sharing msdolittle.   ;D ;D
