Awwwww . . . it's a rainy day; she might as well at least start off with a good meal!  :o

Searched the archives and weekly postings of Margaux's show, but only items from May (or older) and/or her playlists are available. I have submitted a request for the interviews to be made available via Podcast, live stream or download.

Two have retreated to the north corner but one is still working away at the meal. She's industrious about this, takes her meal very seriously apparently!

Man those kids are sure workin' on somethin' with a vengeance.  I've been watching them for the last 1/2 hour or so and they have not let up.  Parents must have left something good behind for them to nosh on.  Means they are learning how to feed themselves.  Yay.
Hope y'all have a great day!

I recall them calling me at 3:40 winnipeg time and it being referred to as "the first hour of the show" so that sounds right.

if anyone does dig it up I'd really appreciate it.  I'm in trouble for not telling my mom in time for her to listen online too....   :-[

Oops, sounds like my mum.  You can always contact 'em and ask 'em if they could send you the link if there is one.

Feeding time. One chick stole the food from Tray and started feeding. Trey went to get the food back and the chick scared him off :o. Must be the female taking after her mother. ;D Poor Trey certainly has had trouble with the girls this year. :(

It's a light drizzle now (7:44 am local) -- one chick working away at some kind of leftover, with the other two looking on, occasionally stepping forward to try for a piece of whatever it may be. If the rain continues as it is now, they won't get very wet and at least they won't be searching for shade as the temperature rises.

All three chicks are awake...two together along the wall at 9 o'clock and the third at 12 o'clock.  It is already very muggy out and will only get worse. One chick has headed to 3 o'clock and is flapping wings and gazing at the people heading to work.  Otherwise not much action.  They look very content.  Have a good day everyone.

6:20 pm.  We've had some rain in the city overnight.  Not raining in the part where I am right now but it's still gray out.

Our chicks are awake and........
Tug-of-war!!!  Two chicks are fighting over some leftover.  No parent in sight.
Okay, a minute later and now three chicks are fighting over whatever it is.

Man, do they ever have a lot black feathers now!

6:10 am, just got to work and didn't need an umbrella on the way. Just a spit or two.Chicks look fine, not soaked by any means, and the puddles on the streets downtown aren't much of anything.

right.  kinda expected someone else would have started this, but no....

it is all dark on the ledge, can see the traffic signs and construction stuff evident and sometimes a car. I like to think I can see the chicks, but it is only the slight image of the poop-art.

enjoy the morning observations!

I bet the chicks TOTALLY forgot to do anything for him!
Well, I wouldn't say that's entirely true, Pchemist. For Father's Day, the chicks have made their daddy, Trey, a lovely masterpiece of "poop art"! ;)

that's an excellent point.  my dad appreciated his gift, but I suspect all dads just like it when their kids remember at all.  on any day.  :)
