Flap flap flap bounce bounce bounce - bonk- who put that wall there? ::)

(pretty sure he stopped before the 'bonk' - but that wall seemed to sneek up on him)

Wasn't that cute...flapping away with the two checking what's going on!

That one boy wingersizing was creating quite the breeze, little feathers on the ledge fluttering about, and both sibs watching in admiration.

That chick who is madly flapping his wings is making me nervous -- it looks as though he could find himself airborne without really knowing what he's doing.

Well now, I could handle that kind of fledge watch.  Scooters, nets, walkie-talkies, cell phones, flashing lights, badges, and hats...just need a siren and we're in business!

Just look at them..they are sooo curious.  I'm so happy that there will be watchers for "fledge watch"...
If I'm still in Winnipeg, I would love to be a volunteer to be on fledge watch duty!  Nothing would please me more than that.

Wow, the female just spread her wings before walking over to the drain cover -- when those wings are spread, it's easy to believe that she'll be quite a bit larger than the male chicks.

Look at all those adult feathers on the boys!

Do the white fluffy feathers just fall out as the other feathers grow in - or do they pull them out when they are preening - or a combination of the two?

Some great closeups earlier today. Thank-you camera gods/ess.

Everyone seems quite interested in what's happening on the other side of the ledge - or just waiting for a food delivery. Wonder if they are thinking 'when we grow up we can have pigeon when ever we want'  ;)

What I believe to be the two boys are standing in the corner, looking down at the traffic -- and you'd swear that they're discussing what they see (who knows, maybe they are . . .) -- it looks almost human.

two looking over the ledge and one laying flat by the drain lid.  clearly the upright two are watching something as their heads moved together...

weird, looked like mutual preening there for a moment and then the one laying down got up and the one next to it plopped down in its place.  and there still appears to be some nibbling happening.  wonder if they have leftovers on them?  ;)

Camera on the move again - in - out - passerby on the street below - finally stopped. Closeups are good, it's the moving around that gets me a little dizzy.

Me too  :-X and I'm the one on the camera controls  :D
