As much as I vote for the nestbox, I love how much room they have here.  They're not falling over each other (mostly) and it's more comfie for me to watch than Elk River, etc.

I suspect they are patiently waiting on a snack.......haven't seen the parents for quite some time and have been watching diligently. I wanted to see the wingercizing(, can't use spell check!!) you were talking about and sure enough, one of them obliged. It is going to get interesting(scary) for the next while. I think I will miss the actual fledging as I will be camping for a few days June 28th to July 2. Company coming the 3rd...yikes....wanted to say "can't come, I'm bird watching"!!

No sleeping going on now.....oh, some wing flapping and so cute, almost did a face plant!

I suspect we may be enjoying the Kinderchick's classroom stuff more than they are...   

I've read all of the questions and answers and am really impressed -- so informative, but in such easy-to-understand terms. Kinderchick's class is very lucky to be involved in the way they've been.

Great reactions from whoever's operating the camera -- nice to get that terrific view of the heap of feathers by the drain cover. Seeing the chick like that, you'd never know that she even has bones -- total relaxation . . .

Some wing flapping and a bit more activity. I'm so hooked - I can't walk away from the computer till I see one more feeding - yeah - that's it - just one more feeding - then I can step away from the computer.
