At least (so far) none of them has done anything foolish in Tracy's absence! Hope the banding in Brandon has gone well today.

Brandon Banding was Super! Had a birds eye view and sound from Bccs Cell phone lots of noise from chicks and parents.Four chicks in the nest a surprise,3 females and 1 male. Dennis took some awesome pictures.

The strikers are blocking the dump sites, though there is a court order to prevent that.  Fortunately my building contracts garbage removal out so we are okay but the garbage on the streets is getting bad and smelly.

One of the boys (I think) has been sitting on the ledge looking out at the world for quite some time now. Seems more like the adults doing that! And Sis seems to have lost a lot of her fluff since yesterday! Too bad, I kind of got a kick out of the "punk" look she had on her head.

TPC, here is an interesting link for you in reference to your earlier comment about the 'chicks' getting smaller over the years.  It has to do with sheep (ok don't laugh) however scientists are puzzling over it and think it may be related to climate change and not needing to be as 'large' to survive anymore due to milder climate.  Thought you might find it relevant.
