Hey Des, great to hear that you were out spotting Trey -- he's such a beautiful bird, isn't he? And I know exactly what you mean about falcon watch reminding you about downtown/buildings/looking up.  :D

Yesterday (Friday afternoon), I saw one of the falcons on the west nest taking in the sun.  Then he(probably) took off as I crossed Main ( the moment my back was turned!)  Then saw him flying onto the J in the Richardson building.  I missed the middle part and could no longer see the west nest) so perhaps it wasn't the same one,
I looked back at posting #182 (thanks bccs) , thought about how white his breast looked on the west nest and figured probably Trey, but ???  Anyway good to get back downtown and see one of them.
A side benefit of this year's falcon watch - the downtown area is terrific and yesterday I went on one of the exchange tours - I've started appreciating the buildings and finding out about the history of some of them and
I now notiice birds way more than I used to - i.e. spending more time looking up!
Happy birding and all else everybody.

Air quality check.  Sheeeshhhhh, is Vesper her own worst enemy. ::) ::) Heard her in the distance, found her trying to land on the Richardson Bldg louvers ledge. This ledge slopes at a huge angle, no chance to grab hold of anything. She tried about 4 times and finally gave up and dissappeared between the Canwest Bldg and the Richardson Bldg.

Friday air quality check. It's a grey, cloudy day out there today. Didn't see any of the falcons and was starting to walk back to the door and heard the noise. I stopped, looked up and there's our girl flying high in the sky south towards the river. I watched her until she blended in with the sky, nice way to start the day.  ;D

Yea Deb, but at least the falcon kids aren't asking for money or to borrow the car ::)

The falcon family these days reminds me of our days with teenagers. Hanging around waiting for them to come home! ::) And they never phone! ;D You can almost see Trey and Princess tapping their feet!

BOT ( gawd, I just love saying that ;D ;D ). No sign of the falcons at 12: 10 today. Did a drive right round the Radisson, looked in all the regular places and saw nada.
Got a feeling that tomorrow will be a repeat of Tuesday - sure hope so.

(((Hee, hee hee, the tale has no end, it just keeps growing and twisting)))
Oh Hi Loriann, please don't ever leave me alone again, even for 5 minutes. It seems I have trouble controlling myself and need your guidence to keep me on the straight and narrow. :-[

When does the forum shut down???....

The forum doesn't shut down ...well unless bccs and Loriann do something really bad  ;D ;D

LOL Carly - if my partner in crime and I go a little too far ( believe it or not, it has happened  ::) ::)) we just get the thread locked. Now having said that, I'm looking over my shoulder for that nasty creature, the incinerator. I like Heidi waaaayyyy better, she has more of a sense of the absurd. :P
