Is there still a need for fedge watchers?  I may be able to help out if the timing works.

More bodies just makes the whole thing more fun - more eyes so to speak!  Let me know if you want to join the ranks and then you can check out the schedule to see what fits ...

Winds calmer - the sun is trying to shine - just a bit of rain now in Osborne Village.

19:00 local Edited to add: had a grand total of 14 rain drops. Hopefully this will pass by the downtown area.

I'm 10 minutes from the Hotel and no rain or hail and much less wind now here ...

Oh, good. Other than the wind looks like this storm cell will miss them then.  :)

Thanks to everyone for all the posts today.  A lot of reading but everyone gives such good descriptions.  Almost as good as watching.
Looks so windy downtown.  I look out my window in Fort Garry and it doesn't look as bad here.

Was watching the weather forcast on the six oclock news and she was going on about all sunny for winnipeg, storm warning for Gimli area.  I turned around and looked out my window here in NK and it was very ominous looking.  The wind got suddenly violent throwing lawn chairs around and pouring very hard.  Still going but not as strong.  Watch out for those birdies!

I'm very close to downtown.  Most of the dark clouds are in the north east part of the city.  Our falcons might get a bit of rain but not much.  Wind is not as bad as it was 10 minutes ago.

It will be over shortly, clearing now near Lockport.

Sis will be o.k., more worried about the two brothers away from the ledge.

A squall front is moving SE from Selkirk. It will probably graze the north end   of wpg. but may be windy downtown.

Yep.  Saw wind pick up downtown first, then here (Transcona end NE Winnipeg).
Heavy rain and now Hail.  Stay safe falcon family.

Okay, where the heck did that wind come from?
Yes, TPC, wind just came up suddenly and fiercely here in NK! Big black clouds rolling in. Thought I was going to head to the downtown tonight for awhile, but maybe not? :-\Hope the chicks will be okay, if a storm rolls in! :o

The chicks have been wind-smart so far, no reason to think they won't be now.  And the boys have probably had sufficient flying to keep them happy today.  Maybe one more hop back to the nestledge for the night, or maybe they will sleepover on one of the other buildings ...

Just had a wee bit of the "weather thing". All is calm now, no huge worries.
