Great slideshow, Msdolittle.  You'll have to save it and present it next year for any newbies because it puts the names on the buildings.  I know I was confused at the beginning even though Tracy tried to explain which building was which.  Thank you.

BOT - the bird in question hopped/flapped/bounced across the top of the ledge out of camera view.....must have  been one of the brothers.

Tracy must be so happy to hve you all there helping

This time, the help didn't come from us fledge watchers -- it came from passersby. It's amazing to realize how many Winnipeggers are familiar with and really interested in the peregrines. While "on the job", we've had all kinds of people asking about and commenting about the birds. It's a great opportunity to educate the public and, after watching Tracy in action doing that, I think most of us feel motivated to tell people as much as possible! The interest level sure pays off, though -- as in this "downed bird" situation.

holy crap tracy...... just walk right up and grab ahold of talons , beak and attitude and suddenly you have the KFC special, bucket-o-bird !.......  what a pro !  did she get you on the arm? happened fast but looked like she nailed your wrist! and how is your ankle?

I didn't recognize it at first either -- but it's the top of the Paris Building -- you can just glimpse the top of the lattice work.

Wow, that footage of TPC capturing Sis is something and if she did get caught by a claw, she never broke her smile!  I can't even imagine having to pick up a falcon -- seems like a lot of skill and guts involved!  Way to go, Tracy!
