Some pics of the fledgling who was on the ledge this afternoon. I still don't know who this was, but what a beauty!

Sorry Tracy, I forgot to do thumbnails ::)

Its not necessary to do thumbnails, the system is suppose to limit the size of photo that can be displayed so it should be a problem.  If it is, I will certainly let folks know!!

The boys were on the Paris Building before one flew away - they were the same size, that's how I know it was the boys ...

So glad they are accounted for.  At 7:50 -about- when i got down there - in hopes i would see that Vesper was really still on the westnest hiding.  Couldn't see her in my 3 circles to look up from behind the bus line which is almost always west on Portage - anyway for those of you at home - it was another absolute deluge plus the excitement of traffic with MTS Centre filling with people, people looking for places to park and downpours.  Vesper of course wasn't there and I left it to you guys to spot our girl Vesper - great work!!! Congratulations and thanks.
P.S. 10 minutes later I'm home, the sun is bright and the babes are accounted for.  Yippee!!!

Went downtown this evening to join the watchers - only to discover there was a concert on at the MTS Centre so the place was jumping. Finally found a lovely bunch of watchers in a parking lot south of the Radisson starring up at the wee miss in a louvred space at the top of the building. Congrats to allikat for finding her. She must have gone north and then circled around to get to that spot around the corner from where she started out and at the same altitude. Anyway it started to rain and I went to move the car so that we could all huddle in there but by the time I got back to the parking lot - had to go around two blocks to get 20 feet back because of the one way street - they had all gone. Not sure if they went home or just someplace dry but it was really storming by then and I decided to just come home. Hope everyone - two footed and two-taloned is OK.  :-[

Nothing like getting kicked out before you can finish what you're trying to say. After all, it doesn't indicate how many lines you can type into one entry anywheres does it?
I wanted to thank MsD for keeping me company for a while and helping me stare at the "white spot" and bccs and Pam for visiting. Thanks guys! Helps to break up the parade of two-legged wild life down there!

thanks to you too for the company.  it's nice to know we weren't staring at the spot for nothing .... the little brat was in there .. just out of sight

when you zoomed in on the view now was there not a bird directly below this one on the fancy stuff..?  thought i saw someone sitting there too thru the rain

Nope, just a fancy knobby thingy - I think its one all the time too!!  :-\
I swear that knobby thingy is a carved/cement bird. It was very inconsiderate of whoever did the ornamentation for that building! ::)
