Des, the comparison you made is perfect.
there is a video called Raptor force  and the comparisons there between the planes and the raptors is great. Great to watch if you are interested.

I know what you mean about the eyeball rolls . I get them all the time with my kids

So, 9:45 and still nobody back on the nest ledge . . . maybe everybody's found somewhere else to stay overnight. I'm hoping that soon somebody who was on fledge watch will post and let us know how the evening ended -- hope all the chicks -- no, fledglings -- are all safely tucked in for the night!

Des, I love the tease that you used to start your report -- it so sounded like our birds! Even though it was only jets (!), it sounds like an amazing thing to watch. You were sure in the right place at the right time.

Nah, I actually was at my son's for dinner, on Queenston, north of Corydon.  The deck faces west, we heard a roar and then saw 2 passes , south, then north , quite low.
I just couldn't resist starting the comparison as if it was our guys downtown - plus I figured you'd enjoy the comparison.  The family is getting a little close to the eye rolling stage as I go on about the falcons - especially as I started right away making comparisons...

And for anyone watching the cam right now (1943 hrs local) that would tonights' Fledge Watch Ground Force in action ...  ;D

Vesper has almost managed to work her way back up to the roof of the Radisson, apparently she is a windowledge of one of the rooms on the south side of the 24th floor .
