I can't believe that we don't have any cam..............not even a jittery one to see anything.  It was so nice last year when you (TPC) would use your spy cam and search around downtown to check on all the chicks.  We watched the ledge for quite awhile after they had left home , so to speak!  So sorry that Isis took a chunk of your hand ....must be very painful. :'(  Surely hope that there won't be any infection with it.  What a naughty falcon to do such a thing. Isn't nature wonderful at times.......when it seems we step in to help.  MSD you were very fortunate that she didn't turn on you while you were carrying her!  All is well right now.......so glad all fledged without anymore upset ;D  Can hardly wait to see Dennis' pictures from today  8)

2156 hrs (local) - no one on the ledge or in the box tonight, guess everyone is going to "sleep-over" somewhere else tonight ...

Spoke with Dennis and he's gone through a couple of images and it seems that Ivy was much more protective than he has been in the past, lots of fly-bys and screaming when we were returning his "little girl" to the nestbox.  And it is confirmed, Isis joined Ivy and Princess as they were harassing us!  Obviously being grounded did put her off flying any!!

Isis, the murderous little witch, tried to eat my hand when we put her back in the nestbox. She's fine, fat, pissy, hyper-aggressive and back flying around - ungrateful little wretch.  First time in 15 years I've gotten really dinged by a bird - wicked puncture on my hand -
Gotta love it hey Tracy!   ;D

I can't believe it -- I may actually have seen her fledge. I took one last look at the cam before I shut down the computer last night around 10 -- did see a bird fly from the edge of the nest but assumed it was one of the boys who might have been visiting.
I think I may have seen her fledge last evening too, Saoirse! :D

Kali, that is the name I voted for.

Sounds like she really is channelling her great grandpappy T-Rex.

I also voted for Kali.  ;)
Sorry to hear about your birdie bite TPC.

Really sorry about the puncture on your hand TPC but Isis sounds like an awesome peregrine falcon!!  You go girl!! um...right..yes sorry again about the puncture TPC  ;)

She may be awesome  ::) she is definitely mis-named, she should have been Kali, the goddess of destruction!

You could always give her a pretentious hyphenated name Isis-Kali, after all it is your sandbox. ;)

Thanks for the updates TPC.  No more cam...have to go cold turkey...err cold falcon. :(  Only your reports, downtown watcher and Dennis' pictures to look forward to.

Thanks, TPC. It is great to get the update that all fledglings are accounted for and doing well.
It must really hurt to have a bird try to eat your hand.  OWWW!
First time in 15 years I've gotten really dinged by a bird - wicked puncture on my hand - bad enough and that given that she was standing in half-eaten quail for most of the morning, I checked with my doc on the date of my last tetanus shot ....

Isis, the murderous little witch, tried to eat my hand when we put her back in the nestbox.  Dennis has some great photos but its going to take a couple of days as he has banding photos and Isis release photos to go through, so I'm afraid y'all might just have to wait for his photos.  She's fine, fat, pissy, hyper-aggressive and back flying around.  Actually, she joined Ivy & Princess giving us grief on the roof - ungrateful little wretch.  First time in 15 years I've gotten really dinged by a bird - wicked puncture on my hand - bad enough and that given that she was standing in half-eaten quail for most of the morning, I checked with my doc on the date of my last tetanus shot ....

Has Isis taken her place back into the skyline of Winnipeg?   ;) :-* Back tomorrow. GCG

Oh yes, the little tart checked out the surroundings from the box edge then bolted to join her parents as they harassed us overhead ....

;D Make no mistake, I will depend on our forum phanatics to update us on our "Flying Radisson Royals". There is no way I can tell one and all how very much this year has meant to me. I will continue to follow this site, mainly because of all of the Radisson Royals and their human phamily and phans.  :-* Has Isis taken her place back into the skyline of Winnipeg?   ;) :-* Back tomorrow. GCG

Thanks for your update, TPC. Ooh, you must be in pain. Your description of Isis, I, for one know the words you wanted to say, and I am sure others do as well. Go home and do something for the pain. Red or White?  :-*
