1330 hrs - checked out the east side of the Hotel and no sign of anyone anywhere.  Hopefully she is sitting over in the sun on the west side - most particularly in the nestbox.

I'm hoping to go past the box on the weekend, will see if she's been checking it out since she's returned ....

Trey was a 1996 hatch from the Radisson so if he returns this year, he will be 14.
Zeus in Brandon, if he returns will be 15, he was from the 1995 hatch in Brandon.

Princess ain't no spring chicken anymore either folks, she's 8 years old this year!

Seeing Princess again, what a thrill! I have goosebumps. Her little crown of lighter spots is still there.

Now, if only His Higness can make an appearance... waiting with all fingers crossed.

Tracey, how old is our special guy, again? I asked you last year, but if I don't write it down, I don't remember.

Currently it is full sun, -17C (only -14C without the windchill), wind N 4km/h (not even noticeable), high for today -6C.  (High for tomorrow +7C & chance of rain  )

snort..  11 degrees here.. PLUS 17  yesterday and our birds stay all year.. nah nah nah.

Question (sorry it's off topic)  -   a few days ago somebody posted a site where the falcon had laid 5 eggs - could somebody re-post it?  I've lost sight of it somehow, and i don't remember where the nest was (sigh, getting old)...

It's great to hear of so many sightings of Princess, a relief to know she made it back safely again. Now, if only Trey would show up, it would be perfect!

I saw her this morning on my way to work in the nest box.  that was around 7:15.  I tried to take a picture but it didn't turn out well.

I need a big unit like Dennis.

She turned and looked at me pointing a camera at her, started yelling at me, and then took off and flew south around the Radisson hotel.
