Something that bugs me, well that's not quite right, but something that tweaks my curiosity is that I have yet to see Princess and Ivy together like I used to see Trey and Princess ... I have seen them near one another but not in the same way.  It may just be different personalities, or he's more vigilant or whatever.

Another thing that's going to take getting used to is that he is a very quiet bird - silent in comparison with Trey.  And Princess is very quiet too, no protesting when we are up on the roof - same with some guys doing roof work.  Don't know if that means anything or just that she's not in the game yet, its her territory but she's not defending it from all comers, be they avian or human.

The game right now is just very different ...

1715 hrs - Ivy is sitting on the eastside sign right now ... just dozing ... no sign of Princess ...

There is always hope Moka, too early to give up yet and even if..if he didn't return this year, migrating falcons have been known to take a year off and then surprise everyone by showing up on time the year after.  I wouldn't write the boy off ...any falcon that can survive 14 years of migration is one strong bird.   :-*

That bit of news reawakened my hopes for Trey.

Come on love, fly your heart out and return to us!  :)

Can't hurt to hope, surely? If I bit my nails, I'd be an my wrist by now.

1600 hrs, wind has died down alot, can actually see with the spycam now - hanging out on a boom it is very susceptible to the wind as you might imagine.  And the sun is out and there is blue sky - prairie weather, snow this morning, sunny blue and +10C now - can you say "Colorado low"?.  Anywho, no one on the east side that I can find, but if it were me, I'd be parked on the west in the sun.

And for those of you who haven't read it yet, Hurricane might have returned to Brandon, no ID of course but the size & location are right.  That means birds are still moving our way ...

There was a male on the ledge (assuming Ivy), took off a bit ago.  Will send you a couple of (kind of blurry) pictures, Tracy, when I get home.

When I came in (around 9:30), Ivy (I think) was on the ledge and Princess on the R of the sign.  They left for a while, and now Princess (I think) is on the tower, I don't see Ivy (or Trey).
