Good Morning to All,

It would seem like all is well in the Royal Nest....snoozing and keeping warm. :)

I just tuned in to watch and had the same thoughts after seeing the rain.
Thank goodness for the nest on the west!

Thank goodness they picked the west nest this year.  The rain out there right now reminds me of the rain that horrible day on June 6 2008.  It is really coming down in the south end of the city right now.  I am assuming that is Princess on the little ones right now. She is right over them under the ledge. Just saw the 10 min weather forecast.  The radar pic makes it look like the rain will be here for quite awhile.

 >:( Uh oh, thunderstorm now hitting the city. Lots of thunder, lightning and rain. Princess is probably forming her wings into an umbrella as she has done so often. In my home, my big "courageous" 85 pound dog is now at my feet and feels safe enough to sleep.  ::)  If we are getting a storm, I pray there is no wind.

:-* May 28 - Day Four    Good morning to our royal family lying there in the dark. I seem to be away during feeding times. Hope I have better timing today. TLC, when will our little ones start motoring around the nest? I would love to see that. I'll be back a little later at daylight.

What a great photo of the family, Ballywing!  And I'm loving the videos, TPC.  My time watching the live webcam is limited and having the videos to watch keeps me in touch.  I still peek in on the live view whenever I can - there's such an intimacy in being there in real time.

Ivy has come in twice again with food and been sent away...either he's super hunter extraordinaire or he's trying to get Princess off the chicks so he can have his turn with them...I saw her vocalizing to him ... go away she said, put that thing in the fridge will ya!  :D

;) I'm ready to log off for the night. You know the phrase, "Early to bed, early to rise". Have lunches to pack and a refreshing (warm) shower. Goodnight to all. Goodnight Princess, Ivy, chicks # 1, 2, 3 and 4. I hope I do not miss anything . Keep me (post)ed.  :)

I've seen IV bring food and stay and watch for a bit as Princess feeds the chicks and I'm thinking maybe he's learning the ropes in how feeding happens.  Has anyone watched IV do the actual feeding?

I was just blessed with a feeding. Ivy bringing in the food and  handing it over to Princess and then staying while she fed. He left ,but soon returned to ledge to be ready when Princess left. He is now brooding. the apple does not fall far from the tree. Lost some of my pictures but a short slideshow
