Ivy just brought lunch and Princess is doling it out to 4 hungry, clambering, floppy chicks. Everyone seems happy to have things back to normal.

  For sure, Princess is sitting with the chickpile, and they are very visible. Thanks again to TPC, Eye-Spy and all, we will most certainly now be able to watch them as they grow and eventually become fledglings. At which time we will

Just saw the babies in a chick pile. no parents as yet but the cam only lets me look for 45 seconds. then changes to a commercial...Not long at all.......how annoying.

I'll bet there was a bit of ruckus during the cam fix - chicks are still alone, has a parent come back yet?? -  hope Princess comes back soon!!!!

Oooh - Got to see the 'cam fixing' crew!!!  WONDERFUL JOB!! - And the view is much better & brighter than before !!  ....Thanks so much TPC, EYE SPY, DENNIS....etc!!   (TPC got a nice close-up photo of the chicks, look forward to seeing that!!)

Just yesterday I was thinking the same thing as bcbird. I really appreciate the answers that you give to the Kinderchicklets, TPC. I've learned a lot about peregrines and other birds of prey lurking here for the last few years, but nothing beats the questions & responses in the classroom.

TPC, I appreciated the answers to the Kinderchicklets' questions. and have a follow up question to the query of the pebble eating.  Is the Chick crop that we watch fill up through a feeding the same structure that becomes the gizzard in the adult?

Yes. 

In the WFP article, banding was mentioned for mid June.  When will the exact date be set?

Date hasn't been finalized yet, but when it is, I will post here first.
