Holy crap, the kiddies are being fed again. :o :o
Seems like it's every hour or so

It looked like Princess just popped in and picked up leftovers from the from of the nestbox and began to feed the kids.  My eyes might have been deceiving me, but I don't think she brought that in... ??? ???

Whatever leftover adult picked up off the gravel to feed the kids it sure looked tough.  Adult peregrine was having a hard time ripping it apart and finally ate the last bit themselves.

Maybe "flying rat" isn't as tender as it used to be. ;D ;D

I can see why some people would think it was a mouse, it sure looked like one!  :o
We (Phanatics) know better............  ;D  we have TPC to tells us everything we
need to know about our wonderful Peregrines. :D :D :D :D

How ever many girls this year, they have an older half sibling with lots of attitude in last year's girl, Vesper the Vocal.  The genes sure got passed to that one.
hahahah,    vesper the vocal,    good one bcbird, and soooooooo appropriate ;D ;D

Loner woke up from nap in corner and decided to walk-waddle-faceplant our way back to our siblings.

You are being hard on these little "big" girls, bccs.  They have to grow one and a half times as big as their brothers and that means they have to eat a lot more.  They will grow up having to defend the nest and need to know how to be tough!  I will agree that they sure do tend to be noisier without a redeeming reason!
Nah, not hard on the girlies at all bcbird. I love their independence, their "get outta my face" attitude.
the "back off jack, I'm just as good as a boy" attitude.    ;D ;D
Even in the animal kingdom.....    girls rule, boys drool.    hee hee

Girls with attitude -- gotta love 'em! Having to defend the nest is a huge responsibility, and the world of nature does tend to be survival of the fittest -- I'd guess that attitude is a survival requirement. And who better to hand down that genetic trait than our Princess???
