Looking at them tonight, it is sometimes hard to believe that these guys and girls will (hopefully) one day become lean mean flying machines like their parents!

The outside cam is really showing a great view of the chicks!  Can really see the difference in size between the males and females from this angle. ;D

Hard to believe those are real chicks, with all the stuttering and jerking... they look like robots, which is what the Kinderchicklets are beginning to think. ::)

Jadoo I have to comment on the brightness of the cam as I too have been having difficulty watching it.  Chicks are hard to define and looks like there is very bright sunshine making everything glare.  Now we know the sun rises in the east and when it looks like bright sunlight on the west nest at 7 in the morning something is amiss ;D The ledge view is also too white.  I brought my yellow night driving glasses in from the car to see if that would help but we are watching outside right now so I can't look at thoses little chickies to test out my plan ::) It sure is hard to believe that the babies are soooooo big!  Weeds........ :o

Finally can view the webcam again.  :D Evening sun is very bright in the nestbox. All the chicks are out near the front of the nestbox, enjoying the beautiful summer evening. 8)

Ivy just arrived with a snack - and everyone woke up pretty quickly. The poor guy barely touched down & they were pulling at the food.

Very funny to watch them pulling the food away form Ivy. Two of the chicks are quite intent on feeding themselves. One of the rather fluffy chicks has been yapping the entire time.

Ivy had enough "okay - you kids sort it out yourselves".  Humm - it isn't that easy to eat when dad isn't there holding the food down. Okay - someone is working on how to use his/her feet.

Everyone is in their after dinner coma - one in the far right corner and the other three along the ledge.

Great new views - and thank you for cleaning the camera lens  ;D

This time it is red band.  I have forgotten the colours given each of the males and females.
Interesting that they haven't the interest in singing for the cam since banding.  Maybe that was just a baby chick activity, and they feel quite grown up now.

It is very bright in the nest box still, and I couldn't make out the leg ID, but one chick pranced up to the cam turned around and has plopped down allowing  us to see the other three at the far end.  All look to be warm, so a lot of the brightness could be sunshine?

.... in no time they will be out on the ledge scaring everyone half to death....CAN'T WAIT!! :) :D

...wanna practice?  Watch the Columbus cam, with the two chicks doing food-fight tug-of-war on the ledge of the 41st floor - that'll get you in shape for the Radisson terrors...
