Two chicks on the edge of nestbox, looking very grown up.  Interesting how they're both facing into the nest.  Encouraging their siblings to "come on out"? or feeling a little ambivalent about leaving home soon...

HAPPY CANADA EVERYBODY!!  

I've been peeking in on the Family every so often and reading the forum comments and am happy to see that all the "babies" are growing and thriving.  I wish I had more time to watch and read.  Wish life (other than Radisson Royal life) could just be on hold for awhile!

Took a detour on the way home from work yesterday and drove through downtown so I could look up to the nestbox to see if I could see anybody.  Couldn't.  My short-sighted eyes can't see details that high (where are my binoculars?!?) and I didn't see any parents perching anywhere nearby.  Of course, I was driving, so couldn't really look properly.  I did send up my love and good wishes

Everyone is napping at the back of the box. Wind stirs the leftover meal feathers around.  Forecast last night for today was high of 30 with a chance of intense thunderstorm around Winnipeg area for about noon.  Currently is very gray out.

There must have been a recent breakfast delivery - three eating and one sitting up on the ledge. Someone is now right up in front of the camera.

I wonder how the Royals will spend Canada Day. Eat, sleep, eat, preen, eat, perch on the ledge, eat, and of course, wingercise. Whatever they do, make no mistake, I will watch as often as I can. Will miss them when they fledge.

  Good morning all. Good Morning Radisson Royals. Happy Canada Day!   Chicks were in a group sleeping. It appears they are beginning to rise and shine. Time to stretch your wings and wait for breakfast. Bob Appetit!

All 4 chicks appear to be watching the sunset, at least I think it's all 4 of them.
