Had a great view of two falcons putting on an aerial display on my way in.  At least one was an adult, was thinking Ivy, but from the racket thought maybe Princess instead!  Did not get a good enough look at the other to determine adult/juvie.  Beautiful to see, though!

Just tuned for a quick peek and all four were munching on some breakfast!  What a fabulous sight - close up of Thor chowing down on a yummy bit.  It's such a beautiful day today!  Happy viewing to those on the street - looking forward to hearing first-hand reports.

I checked at the Radisson and surrounding area on my way to work this morning.

I saw one birdie running on the ledge, and thought I saw 2 on the nest box edge.

I might go out at lunch and sneek a peak.  Hang out at the corner of  north side of portage and hargrave.  You can get a pretty good view from there with no binoculars.

Hey bccs - great job and great news that they have all returned to the nest box.  The boys must be getting much better at flying.  As they say, practice makes perfect!  Hope the girls take a few more days before trying.  TPC told me on Sunday that the females needed more time than the males to be ready to fly.  I am going to try to get down there on my lunch hour to take a look-see.  Hope I see them flying around.

Why are all the chicks referred to as females, when we know Thor and Loki are males?

I have to assume it was a typo.

Ok, all of you can rest easy, all 4 chickies are back home on the ledge or in the nestbox .    Saw them with my very own eyes.

Thanks bccs!  When I was on at 5:41 I said the winds were calm in Charleswood...........not anymore so I can imagine what it is like around the Radisson.  The "kids" will have quite a wind to deal with if they take off again today.  But then they are birds and we are not! Glad to hear they are all accounted for

Thanks for the update bccs!  Where is the best spot to chick-watch during the day (i.e. on a lunch break)?  I don't think I have a set of binoculars that I could bring with me.  Would I be able to see anything without a pair?
