This doesn't exactly belong here, but I was attempting to reply to TPC's Woodmen post from today, and discovered that the "Reply" option is gone.

My fault, I added the summary post and it locked the board.
It's unlocked now.

In case you missed it in the Tweet below (I agree the photo of Chayton makes it easy to not pay attention to anything else!) - the folks at WoodmenLife are having their annual Name the Chick Contest on now.

Not sure when voting ends, so if you are interested, do it now :)

2019 NESTING SEASON

Chayton (2014 Kansas City, Missouri) with Mintaka (2010 Lincoln NE).
Mintaka has been at Woodmen Life for a few years now - this is his second year with Chayton.
Prior to being at Woodmen with Mintaka, Chayton was with Orozco at St Cecilia's in Omaha.

This year they had three chicks who were banded on June 3rd - two females, 1 male.

I hadn't seen the chicks for a couple of days, but this evening two were at the nest.

And now there are three chicks:

The little chick who was on his back is now upright again, and the feeding continued.
