The link for this cam is:

This is an interesting site on the migration of the Polar Bears. Check it out.

This is great Linder, thanks for the link.  Right now, the cam is on a bear, eating and digging - very interesting to watch, but the picture is so jiggly that I can't watch for long.  Hoping this is temporary and will check back later :)

Its great that this cam is back!  I was watching this back in the early 2000s when it was one of only a few out there.  As I recall I was watching three African waterhole cams and a shark cam off the coast of California at the same time.

Thanks for posting this one Linderlou  :-*  *applause*

Just a note ... apparently because a Winnipeg radio DJ mentionned this cam on the air one day (I think this week), the number of visitors crashed the feed for awhile.  I just checked and it took a couple of minutes to load up but the feed ran just fine once it started.  So if the site should be unavailable, it could just be the number of visitors.  Or the weather, which can be wicked in Churchill, but that too will pass so if first you don't succeed, do try again, it can definitely worth it!

Yes, it certainly is worth it! When I viewed it the other day, there were 2 polar bears who looked to be eating something. Not sure what they were eating, though. The webcam viewing was excellent for me, not jiggly at all, like you described, susha. Also, try scrolling down and go for an interactive ride on the simulated tundra buggy. My Kinderchicklets are going to love it! :D

Both views are non-jiggly now, but no bears in sight for now :(

Oh gosh, I've got to get busy and watch this one. Like TPC, I remember watching it a number of years ago when it was part of the africam.com website and I couldn't leave it alone during this season. Sounds as though it's at least as good, and possibly better than it used to be! Thanks for posting about it, Linderlou.

Yes Kinderchick that was really special to see.  I'm hooked.  My daughter and I watched and decided that a trip up to Churchill is on the list!

Stormy weather up in Churchill today. No polar bears in sight. Maybe they are hunkered down somewhere right now. :-\ Website says that the webcam connection keeps going out, due to the weather.

Must have been very windy, the cam was shaking so hard it was enough to make me seasick! When I was on earlier, I saw one big bear wander off, then the view changed and all I could see was somebear sleeping. A bit hard to tell when they're curled up on the ground, if they're off in the distance - is it a bear or a rock?

WOW Dennis that was fantastic viewing.  Thankyou so much for sharing your pictures of the Churchill polar bears.  Your photos captured the character of the polar bear in ways I was unaware of.  I really enjoyed those.

Yes, your photos are truly magnificent, Dennis! :D I was struck by how tiny these bear's ears appear to be, for the size of their body.

Visibility on the tundra is quite low today. We saw a tundra buggy but that's about all. ::)

This video was very interesting to watch, highlighting awareness to the polar bear's vulnerabilty to climate change. :(

Apparently, as of last Saturday, the polar bear webcam is done for the season. :( But there are still some interesting videos to watch. :)

I haven't been able to watch the cam at work -- and, of course, that's when it's up and operating -- so it's great to be able to see videos of the action. They're such amazing animals.

Yes, Saoirse... I especially love the one of the 2 babies following behind their mother, walking along the water's edge. :D

So while we were watching the bears do bear things, this is really what their life was all about ...  :-\

The Churchill Polar Bear webcam just went live. :D

Not sure where to post this link, but here it is, for those who are interested.
At the moment, there is a great close-up view of an adult polar bear snuggled up against a large rock & a bush...
