Radisson - whoever said, better late than never, was wrong this time. Was going to start the countdown timer on the website after I took my morning peek around the nest site and there s/he was. Better late ain't going to work - someone is home!

Radisson - no sign of our returnee today, saw her a bit yesterday when it was sunny at the box. 95% sure it is Hazel (2022 Grand Forks) who forced Ella & Pip off their nest last year. Definitely a female, comfortable on site, band colour matches & she looks familiar.

Radisson - haven't been able to id our first returnee yet, but our second returnee was much more cooperative. Welcome home Pandemic (2020 Fargo), the male half of the invading pair at the Radisson last year. First thing he did when he arrived was check out the nestbox.

That's great! Let the season begin! ;D

Hooray! I'm very glad to know the pair has returned.
Just how early are they?
It's also good to have this forum active again.
-
I hope they are safe from these wicked, cold winds.
A new season, hope is alive!

I saw one bird at the nestbox today, surveying the land.
