Title: Great Blue Heron - New York / Sapsucker Woods
Post by: cadria on May 20, 2012, 20:27
Wonderful cam from Cornell Lab of Ornithology - 5 chicks and doing well.  Apparently this is the closest Cornell has been to a Heron nest (so to speak), so everyone is quite excited.

At times, when they were hatching, there were 4 or 5,000!   :o  It was the same with Cornell's Red-tailed Hawk cam. Truly fascinating to watch and boy are they growing fast!!
