My name is CaraChick Felicity and I would like to know how old is Princess and whon are her mommy and daddy. Are her mommy and daddy still alive? Thank You

Hi CaraChick Felicity,
Princess was hatched in 2002 at the Riverside Power Plant in Minneapolis Minnesota. From the records I can access, her mom was Marie and her dad was Lightning. Marie was hatched at the Monticello Power Plant in Minnesota in 1996 while Lightning was hatched at the Sherco Plant in Becker, Minnesota in 1998. I'm sorry to tell you that her daddy Lightning isn't alive anymore, he died the same year that Princess was hatched, he was 4 years old. We don't know about Marie, she hasn't been seen anywhere since her mate Lightning died.
Its very tough being a peregrine falcon I'm afraid and lots of them don't live to be as old as Princess - she's 8 years old this year!
