For those interested in Osprey's there is a hatch going on live right now at the Scottish Loch of Lowes. This is of particular interest because this female, Lady, is about 26 yrs old. She laid eggs last year and sat on them for well over the necessary incubation period but none of them hatched. The eggs were examined and found to be non-viable. That she has a hatch this year is quite remarkable.

........one remarkable female osprey has returned time and again to the astonishment of ornithologists and experts in conservation, as well as wildlife enthusiasts across the globe. Affectionately known by some as ‘Lady’ or ‘the Lady of the Loch’, this individual osprey is thought to be the oldest known breeding osprey in Britain.
