:'( :'(
Today, I received my newsletter from Eagle Jim, photographer extraordinaire and founder of the Eastwood Eagle Watchers. As usual I was expecting to read of the annual off season ways that Jim and Cindy prepare for their new season together. Jim and Cindy are the first resident pair of Bald Eagles in the Dayton (Ohio) area in 70 years. I wasn't prepared to read what Jim had shared with us. Cindy is dead. She was accidentally killed while preparing their nest.

Eagle Jim has shared his latest blog with The Eastwood Eagle Watchers that seems promising for Jim, the resident male who sadly lost his mate Cindy, who died in a tragic accident last week.

The latest newsletter from Eagle Jim tells of the rescue and release of a young eagle. He tells it in an eloquent manner. Photos of the release are included.
