Title: ID Help: Common Raven
Post by: Doreen on June 01, 2013, 18:00
These 3 Ravens were resting on our shed today. I managed to get a few good pictures before they flew away. =)

Tracy would these be young Ravens, or parents and a juvenile?

Tracy could the birds I posted be Crows? How would you be able to tell the difference between Ravens & Crows?

Looking at your photo, I'm going with Common Raven based on the beak ....

Here's a good id guide - http://www.allaboutbirds.org/page.aspx?pid=2501
