perhaps it is simply some other banded bird (not that this would be happy news, but you know what I mean).
The Peregrine Chick:
I'd be surprised if they were preying upon one of the family, not only don't they practice infanticide/siblicide/fratricide (and therefore wouldn't see a peregrine as prey) but this tend to want to catch their own food and while they may store it for short periods, they don't just leave it "out" so to speak.
Stranger things can happen I guess ... fortunately, nothing like that in the 'Peg ...

I think the camera operator at King think # 3 that has been gone is the prey the others have been at today they keep zooming in on a band on a leg and body below nora at RRP forum had some pics she thought at first was a pigeon but then she wondered too So sad if this is the case
I got some pics but they are pretty gruesome

I just love that color of brown. Very rich and striking! Not as striking as an adult but you all know what I mean! ::)

Still only two chicks visible today, with no word on the third, who would appear to have fledged. I hope she is safe.
