These chicks are from a breeder so you probably see the breeders band on them. the project was owed a chick from Miss Edmonton last year, thus the female. the site wanted to contribute 2 more , thus the males . the males are about 22-23 days old and the female about 25 days old.
the chicks were fed before they went in and will be fed tonight , unless the adults are there to feed and will be fed again tomorrow morning.
It sometimes takes some longer than others, so this is not unexpected. He said the chicks need to beg. the hens instincts should kick in when she hears them. they want to give her every opportunity.
