A falcon was again at the nestbox this morning; could not see leg bands.  It seems like more than a few falcons are flying around here and checking things out, but no one seems to be stepping up to the plate and settling down into parenthood.  I hope this happens soon.

Gord has jsut confirmed what I thought. Same female as we have been watching for last few years

It's pretty scratched up, but does suspiciously resemble 1/D (H/V) banded at Telus Calgary in 2005 as a nestling, first id at Genessee when Geoff caught her in 2009.

I have been in contact with George. they are going to put a new cam here. so it may be off line sometime this month.

That is the worst glare I have ever seen here.  Maybe it has something to do with replacing the camera?
