ACK!  She's disappeared!!!  All I see is a nest full of feathers!    ;D  ;D
If it weren't for that bright little eye I wouldn't have found her this morning!

Unfortunately, I am it. I will be doing as much as I can. the biologists are always out in the field but are around close to the date if there are not out of town.  this is the time the biologists do their field work ,
I tried last year to get the  ones (student)in charge of this cam ot help but...

I will get on line and try again last year. I am only one person and last year I went down close to the time and then monitored form home. the Miss last yer flew off when I got home and my husband and I went down right away and found her on a building.
I am going to be honest here. I worry about this site because of the big building(all glass) right across from this site. it is new in the last year althiugh construction was going on for 2 seasons.

this has become a busy spot and used to be quiet.
But I will see if I can get any interest this year.  I do not know if anyone here watches and have no way of finding out.

Yes Bev, will there be a fledge watch to make sure our girl doesn't tumble out of the box ??  I know you will be there regardless of if it's organized or not - if I was near there I'd go with bells on  ;D ;D

7:45 am and our girl is doing a morning workout, stretch.. ;D

she has had some times of pecking food but it is really hard to tell without live streaming. lots of carnage but...

She has some of the same moves as her mom.
Did a lot of looking today.
We had a bit more rain this morning and then we are expecting more tomorrow
thanks mom

just wow

Heh..she was up and restless and soon as mom came back and perched herself on the ledge, our girl laid down for a snooze  :).  Now I can go to sleep too  :D

She was having a nice chat with Mom, and is now avidly looking out as Mom has flown off.  Maybe she really can see Dad bringing the prey to pass off to Mom.  If it's mealtime, it means more feathers and other leftovers. It has definitely begun to accumulate now that Mom is leaving behind carcasses for Cassie to work on.

hehe...glad to see it's not just us that think the box is a bit messy  :P but she's still young and a first time mom and the little one is so adorable so we'll excuse her :D.  Speaking of Cassie, she's really getting darker today, losts of fuzz disappearing!  She's looking right up at the camera now  :D

Holy cats, don't think I have ever seen that much debris in a nestbox ... particularly when there is only one chick!!!  And I thought my home office was, let's say, "lived in"  :o
