Honestly she just gets more attentive and affectionate with her every day.  It's the first time I've watched a mom with only one chick so maybe that is the way it always is with one?  I remember Bev saying that last year's mom only had one chick as well and she was very protective of it as well.

That's a really good thought -- maybe that's exactly why.  But I still wish someone would take out the trash -- it's pretty disgusting!  And doesn't it smell?  I've never seen a parent with one chick either.  She does look like a big sis, but Dad could clean up.   :D  Anyway, it's darn cute!

*sigh* there's the bad vision again.  Sorry you two, I swear I'm going to be one of those blind old ladies with the big magnifying glasses on  >:(

Have any of you seen a feeding lately?  I may have missed one when on the way home from work or cooking dinner but I haven't see one for hours now?

I didn't!  I did a quote from SGB -- she gets all the credit.

Aww..that's a great shot Liz, so glad you captured it!  It is almost like Radisson is a sibling isn't it?  Maybe cause she's still young she understands the baby needs someone to lean on and that's why she's not cleaning, she's being sibling and mom  :D
